At the age of eight or so, I saw my first Corvette. I fell in love with them from the start! I used to collect plastic models, and die cast and matchbox versions of Corvettes. I still have about 15 of them that my two-year-old plays with all the time.
I was able to purchase my first Corvette after serving 16 years in the US Army. It was a 2008 Arctic White automatic. After owning that car for four years and retiring from the Army, I traded it in for a 2005 (with a manual transmission). The Corvette is an awesome car, but the people/owners you meet are just as awesome! I hope to own a Corvette from every generation one day, but until then I will enjoy my 2005!
