When I got out of Air Force active duty in 1966, I bought my first Vette, a 1967 Lyndale Blue roadster with the 327/350. Sold it in 1971 when my son arrived but got another 67 Green roadster in 1974. Then as the family grew there was a long hiatus until 2002 when I bought a 1991 Z07 and that one lasted until 2015 when I sold it to get a 2013 Grand Sport. The 1991 evolved over 13 years into a very pristine looking Vette that was an out and out track car underneath. The Grand Sport was too mild mannered and made way for the 2010 Z06 which is delight to drive on the track.
